Yet it is in our idleness, in our dreams, that the submerged truth sometimes comes to the top.
– Virginia Woolf
I’ve written before about how inspiration often comes to us when we are half asleep, or in those moments just as we are waking, or even in dreams. Lately I’ve been having very vivid dreams, very real, and if I could only write them down before the details start getting fuzzy I might actually have something. I had one last night that I think can work into my witchy story pretty well, I’m already spinning the angle. It was fairly scary and threatening, I was in danger and fighting for my survival. But this could be just the thing I’ve been looking for to confront my would-be heroine with. It’s going to take some fancy footwork to confront the bad guys and live to tell the tale.
