Side Routes – Stone Fence Crafts

Since I’ve been out of work and stressed to the max, I’ve been crocheting like a madwoman. And since I don’t necessarily need all this stuff, and yarn costs money, I opened an Etsy shop to sell some of it:  Stone Fence Crafts. 

For now, I’m focusing on string bags which are great to take to the store and skip their plastic bags. The one pictured is large: 18″ long, 7″ deep, and roughly 12″ high. As it’s made of cotton, it’s very stretchy, you can fit quite a lot in this one. There are also smaller, round bags, but again as they’re made of cotton, they will streeeeeeetch. Also, they will last for many many years. I have some I bought nearly 25 years ago and still use weekly. I can’t find more of those (recently lost one) so I decided to start making some.

I plan to add more items (amigurumi animals, afghans, clothing). These coasters are fun to make.

Still getting some writing done, but my anxiety levels are through the roof right now. Ergo, I haven’t been as productive in that area as I need to be. I hope to have the next chapter of A World Away posted on Wattpad in the next couple of days.
