Thought for Monday

I wanted to kick the week off with something to buoy our spirits. I liked this card from Charlene Livingstone’s Art of Life Tarot. It seemed like a good thought to lead us into another work week:

In the Tarot, the Six of Swords typically indicates a journey (physical or metaphorical) away from troubles, struggles, towards something better. Wishing you all fair winds and following seas this week.

Writing True

This was tweeted out by someone earlier today, and I liked it so much I’m posting it here so I can always find it again.

Write what you really think and mean, not what you think you should think and not what you thought you would think and not what you hope it will mean, but what is really authentic and true.

Just Because

The Hermit card, from the Art of Life Tarot by Charlene Livingstone. I’ll be doing a longer post on it over on Dangling Pentacles Tarot in the next few days, but no time tonight. It just arrived in the mail today, and I’m loving it. For now, enjoy the painting and the lovely quote. What a great tool for writers this could be, between the fantastic art and the wonderful quotes!
